Guy Robert Giraud is an abstract painter / sculptor of symbolic inspiration.
Through his painting, Guy seeks the explosion of his inner being, the image of the Self and the image of the World, a synthesis at the limit of the informal, starting from a personal experience in order to reveal to others a Universal Knowledge.
At the age of 6, with his parents, his brother and his sister, he lived 5 years in Africa in Benin.
Then back in France, Guy entered a school of plastic art and painting at the age of 19, after several years in this school and having acquired many techniques he became self-taught to follow his own path and let his creative spirit the power to express itself. The loss of his parents, including his father who died at the age of 56, plunged him into a long introspection.
To this day his creative spirit is insatiable. Drawings, paintings, sculptures abound in his mind and are waiting to be released for the world to see and appreciate. My works are multiform and I have my own style and use different techniques. I have my own vision and understanding of everything. My works are special and I love each of them, in each of them is my soul and my world.
